For the global relaunch of Airbnb Experiences, I documented three experiences in Lisbon and along the Portuguese coast: surfing with local instructors, exploring Fado’s emotional heritage, and tasting oysters with Portuguese sparkling wine.

I led the production on the ground — casting participants, managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and liaising directly with Airbnb’s team. Working with video director Mafalda Salgueiro and producer João Brojo, I balanced Airbnb’s creative brief with my documentary approach, making real-time decisions about how each experience would be captured.

We mixed cameras and formats — underwater cameras, film cameras — to capture honest moments. Airbnb wanted people to feel like guests, not viewers. The result is raw and human rather than polished.
